Renata Codello, PHD, has been the Heritage Supervisor of Venice and Rome. She is director of the Veneto Regional Office of MIBACT. She has lectured at the Faculty of Architecture in Genoa; at the Faculty of Engineering with Vittorio de Feo in Rome Tor Vergata; and at Ca' Foscari Venice. She currently lectures at I.U.A.V. She has restored works by Carlo Scarpa in Venice. She designed and completed the new Accademia Belle Arti di Venezia premises in the 16th-century Incurabili complex (1998-2004) and, with Tobia Scarpa, designed and managed the works for the enlargement of the Gallerie dell'Accademia (1999-2014).
