After the success of past editions, the Parco Archeologico dell’Appia Antica again presents its summer appointment with the festival Dal Tramonto all’Appia. Guarda che Luna (From Sunset to the Appia. Gaze at the Moon) is this year’s theme, devoted to the earth’s satellite to mark the 50th anniversary of the moon landing in 1969. An articulated program of music, theatre and words will take place from 11 July to 13 July 2019 at the Mausoleum of Cecilia Metella.

Follow on Friday, 12 July at 9 p.m. Ascanio Celestini who will stage stories taken from his show “Laika” which takes its title from the little dog that the Soviets sent into space in 1957, and at 10 p.m. by the concert “Futuro Remoto tour acoustic set” by the singer Giulio Wilson. Saturday 13 July, again at 9 p.m., Peppe Servillo will close the event with a reading of passages taken from the novel “Il poema dei lunatici” by Ermanno Cavazzoni and at 10 p.m. he will perform together with Avion Travel with excerpts from their latest album “Privé”.
