A technological campus at the service of the community and its economy, built with respect for the environment, materials and the local workforce. Sketches, designs, photographs of the construction site and the finished complex reveal the progress of the architectural project for the building designed to be the new headquarters of the Tiscali company.
The volume shows all the design and construction stages of Campus Tiscali complex in Cagliari. It consists of five main blocks which strongly reflect the natural context where they have been built. The project designers started their training in 1982 at the architectural studio of Aldo Rossi, and, over the years, became his closest collaborators. Set up in 1997, the Arassociati studio has designed and executed many buildings in Italy and abroad. Entrusted with the executive design and artistic management of the new La Fenice Theater in Venice, it was awarded the International Theater Architecture Award. Their most important projects include: the new sports stadium in the former Philips premises at Leuven, in Belgium (1998-2005); the design for the new DAMS headquarters in Bologna; and the conversion and extension of the Théâtre National Populaire at Villeurbanne outside Lyon.
