Architecture lovers can now enjoy a series of drawings by Hector Guimard in a precious limited edition.
Gathered in a folder bound in fabric, the over sixty watercolors are a facsimile reproduction of the drawings the Parisian architect and sculptor, one of the greatest exponents of French Art Nouveau, presented together with the project for the construction of Castel Béranger (1895-1898), the residential complex in Paris on Rue La Fontaine, for which Guimard designed not only the overall building, but also the decorations and furnishings for each apartment.
The ability and refinement with which Guimard finished his constructions down to the smallest details is evident in these sheets illustrating both the external and internal decoration of the building.
