A book offering a virtual tour on water
In Venice, when you board on the steamer connecting the station to piazza San Marco, you see a unique scenery, made of marvellous palaces overlooking Canal Grande. This book illustrates the itinerary from San Simeone Piccolo to Dogana da Mar, analysing the sixty prominent buildings. Of each palace the book provides pictures showing the façade and highlighting architectonic details, and brief texts explaining their history and their artistic value.
