Catalogue of the homonym exhibit that reflects on the architetcural imagery, at the Triennale of Milan till August 27th.
Made by Italo Rota and the graphics by Studio Camuffo inside the spaces of the Galleria dell’Architettura at the Ground floor of Palazzo dell’Arte, the Exhibit will have an high spectacular content and mostly it marks the comeback of the Triennale to a reflexion on the theme of exhibition as a communication project coherent with the aesthetic, cultural and technological updates of contemporaneity. Starting from the four orientation axes North South East West – of traditional cartography, the exhibit proposes an organiztion of Architecture’s millenary iconography starting from a consideration of the image as manifesto of a particular representation of the art of construction and with its relationships with society. The starting point is the idea of architecture as an instrument of the world’ symbolic representation through the complexity of a system of images that in their expressive power cross the centuries and establish themselves in time as true icons.
