Pompei 79 d.C. Una storia romana Pompeii 79 AD A Roman history

From 6 November 2020 to 27 June 2021, the exhibition at the Colosseum devoted to the relationship between Rome and Pompeii will present the two different realities from many points of view, yet extremely close: Rome, comparable to the great “megacities” of antiquity such as Alexandria or Carthage, with its immense spaces and its monumentality, and Pompeii, enclosed in its compact boundaries in the shadow of Vesuvius.
