Sergio Polano (Livorno, 1950) graduated in Architecture in 1974, under Professor Manfredo Tafuri at the IUAV of Venice. Chair Professor of History of Contemporary Art, he retired in 2008. He has written more than fifteen monographs and over four hundred essays published in periodicals and magazines, on the history of contemporary architecture, industrial design, and visual design.
