Raffaella Morselli

Raffaella Morselli is Professor of Modern Art History and President of the Degree Course in Artistic and Multimedia Communication at the University of Teramo. After graduating in Art History from the University of Bologna, she went on to complete a Postgraduate Diploma in Medieval and Modern Art History and a PhD in Medieval and Modern Art History at the same University. She has been honorary inspector of the Mantua-Cremona-Brescia Superintendence for Historical and Artistic Heritage for the city of Mantua and the Ducal Palace since September 1996. Since March 1998 she has been the scientific director of the research project Collezionismo gonzaghesco (1563-1630) at the Centro Internazionale d'Arte di Palazzo Te (Mantua) and coordinator of the related research group at the State Archives of Mantua and was also in charge of the conception, curatorship and scientific coordination of the exhibition Il Museo dei Gonzaga. Le Collezioni Ducali di Mantova tra Controriforma e Barocco in 2002.
