Alberto Capatti

Alberto Capatti, historian of Italian gastronomy, was born in 1944 and was the first rector of the University of Gastronomic Sciences in Pollenzo. For many years he has been involved in the history of food and gastronomy. He has edited the monthly magazine "La Gola" and the magazine of Slow Food, is part of the scientific committee of CasArtusi and is a member of the Institut Européen d'Histoire et des Cultures de l 'Alimentation. His publications include Storia della cucina italiana (2014) and Mangiapensieri (2017).
