Sin r.h.

An untiring author of verse, an American and a New Yorker, enamoured of Edgar Allan Poe to the point of being able to quote whole pages of his works off by heart, r.h. Sin is a self-taught writer. He evolved his distinctive style by posting screenshots of acute observations and haunting compositions using the Apple Pages app. Ever since boyhood he has been writing a steady 7000 words plus a day.
His real name is Reuben Holmes and he started posting verse after the sad end of a relationship. Since then he has never stopped, self-publishing his first books. On 8 March 2017 the editor of the iconic New Yorker dedicated one of the articles written to celebrate International Women's Day to his work, hailing him as the feminist poet. Among his books, some of them self-published: Whiskey Words & a Shovel II (2016), Whiskey Words & a Shovel III(2017), A Composition of Broken (2017), I hope this Reaches Her in Time (2017).
