Chiara Mezzalama

Chiara Mezzalama was born in Rome on September 28, 1972. The daughter of a diplomat, she spent her childhood in Morocco and Iran. A writer, translator and psychotherapist, she attended the French school in Rome, always interweaving the two languages ​​and two cultures. She has two children and currently lives in Paris and Rome. A member of the Società italiana delle letterate (SIL), she has written for the literary magazine Leggendaria and the reading blog Giuditta Legge. She teaches Italian literature at the Italian Cultural Institute in Paris. She has also written a diary on the terrorist attacks in Paris, Voglio essere Charlie, and her second novelIl giardino persiano.
