The exhibit proposal and the catalogue make an itinerary that develops on a choice of forty-five works, lying along the period that goes from the twenties till the end of the fifties.

In the great Sironian poem, the allegory is an instrument practiced with a wealth of detail in order to tell the epopee of the modern man through the forms and the parables, the legenda and the mythologies
of the ancient man, making a bridge from contemporary time and the classic roots of humanism, and allowing of solvine the theme or the given subject without sliding in the rhetoric or the academic.
The exhibit proposal and the catalogue have an itinerari that develops on a choice of forty-five works, lying along the period that goes from the twenties till the end of the fifties allowing to cross with an eye specifically addressed to the allegory, almost all the sironian production arch. Next to the “Melancholia”, recurring theme in our artist, we will find works whoe titles “Loneliness”, “Lazzaro”, “Charity”, “The tragdy”, “Susanna and the olds” “The agricolture”, “the plough ” “The seven deadly sins”, to the “Debout les morts”, almost a moral memory, indicate how Sironi have abundantly used this rethoric structure to develop time by time themes or subjects.
