The artist's first large monographic exhibition in Italy. The large-format catalogue is enriched with inserts of Installation Views, presenting the works on display and also includes a detailed commented chronology.

Exceptionally, the exhibition will occupy the whole museum premises. A selection of around 60 works executed since 1990, many of which have never been exhibited before, will allow visitors to deepen their knowledge of the art of Rudolf Stingel, a regular at Palazzo Grassi due to his consolidated presence in past exhibitions: Mapping the Studio (2009-2010) and The World Belongs to You (2011). The artist lives and works in New York and Merano. Since 1984, the year of his first exhibition in Milan, his work has been displayed in many national and international centers, such as the Museum of Contemporary Art in Chicago, the Whitney Museum in New York and the Venice Biennale.
The large-format catalogue is enriched with inserts of Installation Views and is written with the collaboration of Jean-Pierre Criqui, French curator, critic and chief editor of the Cahiers du Musée National d’Art Moderne. As well as presenting the works on display, the book also includes a detailed commented chronology.
