An exhibition dedicated to one of the greatest protagonists of Arte Povera in Italy.
The exhibition focuses on Fabro’s production of the Sixties through a selection of fundamental artworks in Italian contemporary art history, works that were innovatory when created and still are exemplary for the new generations. The works of this period already show Fabro’s strong and original interest for space conceived as communicative dimension, the perception of the environment in the relation between external reality and interiority and the idea of the artwork (which he often calls “elaborato”) as objective material which encourages new levels of knowledge. In the first years of his extraordinary career, Fabro created artworks using glass and light metal tubes that highlight shapes and materials like simple luminous and dynamic vehicles.
