After more than fifty years, a new edition of Le Poème de l'Angle Droit by Le Corbusier, presented for the first time in Paris in 1955. One of the most eloquent writings by the master of the Modern Movement. This book reproduces the beauty and elegance of the original edition

From 1947 for eight years, Le Corbusier worked at Le Poème de l’Angle Droit. The book reproduces the written pages and drawings of the original edition, presented in Paris in 1955 by Editions Verve. Texts have been translated in Italian. The book was conceived in the same period as Le Modulor (1950 and 1955), in the years of post-war reconstruction, to find a new synthesis between architecture and plastic arts, influenced by the idea of the ineffability of space. The book ends with an historic-critic essay by Juan Calatrava, who connects what is written in the Poème with Le Corbusier’s greatest masterpieces of the post-war period: Ronchamp and Chandigarh
