Exhibit organized by Assessorato alla Cultura della Provincia di Catanzaro it is the most important project realized in Italy by Antony Gormley, one of the major english contemporary sculptors.
Next to an historical exhibit with works that reflects his creative course, at the Archeological Park of Scolacium has been realized a big project with 100 sculptures aimed to deeply modify perception. The works are variations that start from the artist’s imprint himself “It is” as Gormley affirmed “a series of grafts in the territory that gives a new breath to the ground, simbolically connecting nature to history”. The exhibit is within the IntersezioniProject wanted by the Assessorato alla Cultura della Provincia di Catanzaro that in 2005 has involved the three artists: Tony Cragg Jan Fabre e Mimmo Paladino.
