Marco (I Mark) and Marco (We Mark) were born in 2019 when the artist invited her brother, the agronomist Marco Toderi, to create a series of images recording deserted spaces, chosen and “marked” by his personal gaze and passage. These projected images evoke the Earth or the hidden most meanders of the human body, other planets or the depths of the cosmos. Measurement systems appear. Luminous protractors and cross hairs traverse the space of the Accademia Nazionale di San Luca encountering the bodies of visitors and introducing them to their nature as carriers of light and shadow.
