Masterpieces from the private collection of one of the world's most famous gallerists, Bruno Bischofberger, exhibited for the first time. Featuring works by Andy Warhol, Jean-Michel Basquiat, Francesco Clemente, Julian Schnabel, Enzo Cucchi, David Salle, as well as a host of photographs and numerous design objects
The exhibition is curated by the collector’s son and features some 300 works. The collection is divided into five disciplines – modern art, design, photography, archeology and folk art – representing five facets of a single passion. The collection is unique in combining extraordinarily fine paintings with unusual and precious objects, including Pop Art paintings, ceramics by Fontana, silverwork, 18th-century folk art, glassworks by Venini, fashion photographs, prehistoric adzes, and wardrobes by great 19th-century designers.
