Exploring the deeply innovatory theme of art as a fairy-tale. Twenty internationally known artists show the fairy nature of artistic creativity.
This collective exhibition is dedicated to the fantastic, fairy quid lying in art’s ability of transforming, anticipating, re-naming reality. Fairy-tales have always given voice to situations of the human condition, communicating feelings from insecurity to hope by means of images of mysterious woods, travels at the boundaries of the world, adventures through seas, mountains and the sky, disturbing encounters, discovers that may change the world. The building up of an exhibition is the developing of a story, as well as the creation of an artwork reminds the magic of a fairy tale. It’s more than just a daydream as the mind stays awake and changes its direction to reach an enchanted equilibrium, a desired tranquillity. It’s also a place for freedom, away from definitive morals, following only what contemporary view imposes on the times of living, thinking and planning. It tells and exorcises, enchants and incites to think using soft and the impetuous, ironic and crude ways of art.
