The works of sculptor Beverly Pepper seen in the magical atmosphere of Forte Belvedere in Florence.
Forte Belvedere in Florence hosted, for the first time in 1998, the works of the sculptor Beverly Pepper. An American who lives and works in Italy, in the city of Todi, the artist has chosen to present a series of works that illustrate the most significant phases of her career. The catalogue illustrates a complex, challenging exhibition, in which the sculptures are conceived in relation to the setting, melding with the prestigious space of the fort. The photographs by Gianfranco Gorgone underline the magical atmosphere of the show. The volume also includes a listing of works, biographical notes on the artist, her exhibitions and major commissions.
