Giulio Romano e le Arti

In Mantua, to mark the year of Gulio Romano, and in conjunction with the exhibition Arte e Desiderio at Palazzo Te, a lecture cycle investigates the relations between Gulio Romano and the arts. At the Archivio di Stato, Palazzo Te and the Madonna della Vittoria, until 6 January, the figure of the artist and his life, music, architecture, his relationship with classical antiquity and much more will be holding the stage.

I martedì di Carthago

The exhibition Carthago is accompanied by a detailed program of events at the Curia in the Roman Forum in Largo della Salara Vecchia until 10 March. The topics to be covered include not only the themes of the exhibition held at the Colosseum, the Roman Forum, the Temple of Romulus and the Imperial Ramp but also a survey of contemporary art in Tunisia, the latest excavations and research, a reflection on the reception of Carthage in the cinema, theatre and literature down to the more contemporary creation of video games.
