Graduated at IUAV in architecture with Manfredo Tafuri in 1980. Since 1978 she has worked with various firms, in particular with the RRT (Research Renewal of the Territory) cooperative of Venice from 1980 to 1998 and, since 1985, with the ALEA cooperative of Udine-Cividale, of which she is president. With these organisations she has carried out research and analysis on the historical, archaeological, architectural and urban heritage, devoting herself to projects with both Italian and foreign universities (Venice, Trento, Rome, Naples, Prague, New York etc.). She has catalogued several architectural and historical monument emergencies on behalf of the public bodies responsible for their protection, coordinating and carrying out interdisciplinary research for the Italian Ministry of Infrastructures and Transport to monitor strategic urban redevelopment programmes in areas marked for redevelopment in some of Italy's most important cities. In 1991 she became an Honorary Inspector of the Superintendence for Architectural and Artistic Heritage of Friuli Venezia Giulia. She works as a freelancer, privileging conservation and restoration projects on historical buildings, and in the last ten years has focused on the management and enhancement of museum structures. Her writings have been published both in Italy and abroad, and she has organised numerous exhibitions, temporary and permanent, in Friuli Venezia Giulia and in cities such as Venice, Rome, Brescia and Prague. She currently lives in Cividale del Friuli.
