Laura Milan

Laura Milan (Rivoli, 1975) is an architect and PhD candidate in the History of Architecture and Urbanism. While collaborating with architecture and engineering firms, she joined the editorial staff of "Il Giornale dell'Architettura" (2002) and writes for specialist periodicals published in paper form and online. She works for important Italian and foreign institutions, developing a deep knowledge of Carlo Mollino's works and archive with the exhibitions "Carlo Mollino Architetto" (Fondazione Palazzo Bricherio and Politecnico di Torino, 2006), "Carlo Mollino. Maniera moderna" (Haus der Kunst, Munich, 2011-12) and her collaboration with the Turin Chamber of Commerce (2009). A member of the jury for two editions of the "Architetture Rivelate" award presented by the Turin Order of Architects and the Fondazione per l'Architettura, in 2014 she established Studio Comunicarch, of which she is a partner with Cristiana Chiorino: the office specializes in architectural communication and is a member of the Guiding Architects international network. For DOM Publishers she is coauthor of a guide to contemporary architecture in Turin (2015-16). In 2017 she was among the founders of the association Open House Torino.
