Massimo Camisasca was born in 1946 in Milan and graduated in Philosophy in 1970. He was ordained in 1975. As a teenager he met Don Luigi Giussani, whose teachings he followed for most of his life. He has taught Philosophy in High School and University. In 1985 he founded the Fraternità Sacerdotale dei Missionari di San Carlo, whose members staff missions all over the world. In 2012 he was ordained bishop of Reggio Emilia-Guastalla. He has written over fifty books, translated worldwide and this is his first children's book.
