Mariapaola Pesce (Mapi) was born in Genoa 1965; after high school and a degree in modern literature she was in charge of the children and young adult section of her family's bookshop. That is when she began holding her seminars for aspiring young writers. After a long stint as a business coach and trainer she returned to her original passion: writing.
