If the everyday objects around us suddenly came to life and coalesced into extravagant shapes the result would be more or less Massimiliano Adami's Magma Fossils exhibition.

If the everyday objects around us suddenly came to life and coalesced into extravagant shapes the result would be more or less Massimiliano Adami’s Magma Fossils exhibition. A volume which both illustrates and records the work of this designer, famous for his experiments with materials and production methods, midway between design, art and craftsmanship. Massimiliano Adami interprets the objects around us in his own inimitable style and transforms them into fossils, creating an original futuristic scenario of objects embedded in his trademark polyurethane.
The catalogue covers three fundamental stages of Adami’s creative development: Assemblages; Cup Up della materia; Making of…
Massimiliano Adami was born in 1969, he designs for and works with some leading names, including: Cappellini, Meritalia, Gruppo Fendi/DesignMiami, Gruppo Sole24ore, Caimi Brevetti, Citterio. His work is exhibited in some important design galleries, such as Moss in New York, Rossana Orlandi in Milan, Ottobarradieci i Bergamo and Onepieceart in Rome. Adami’s Fossili Moderni are on permanent display in the Design Museum at the Milan triennial.
