The MINI & Triennale CreativeSet project presents FunCoolDesign.Tm, a personal exhibition by JoeVelluto (JVLT) curated by Oliviero Toscani. The exhibition includes some site-specific objects designed by JoeVelluto (JVLT). The JoeVelluto (JVLT) design and communication studio is headquartered in Vicenza. In 2002, under the auspices of the “Opos Under 35” competition, it presented “RosAria” – a disposable rosary made of pluriball, the studio’s first official design, which was soon to become part of permanent design collections in Italy and abroad. Some of the most important projects include the following: in 2005, the book entitled “Salefino: nuovi sapori dal design italiano”, published by Abitare Segesta; in 2006, along with C. Morozzi, it launched the communication project “Nazionale Italiana Design” combined with the new “CoincasaDesign” brand; in 2006, it began to work on projects involving setting up and installations; in 2007, it took up teaching, sending visiting professors to numerous Italian schools and universities; in 2008, the “Saver” design of Coroitalia received a special mention from the ADI Design Index. In November of the same year, it presented the exhibition/manifesto “UseLess Is More” – the first interpretation of the concept of Adesign. Currently JoeVelluto (JVLT) is collaborating with some publishing companies and provides consultancy to various companies on artistic coordination.
