"Europe's brightest new star. Fabio Novembre is the Baroque star of modern Italian design." "The Independent" (Albert Hill) "Mid-way between genius and madness, no-one is so good at creating trend." "El País"
Fabio Novembre is one of the most renowned young designer-architects on an international level: charismatic, unpredictable, able to apply himself equally well to designing shops, hotels and venues as sofas and tables, creating objects and spaces that amaze every time.
Novembre’s visionary power is the subject of an exhibition at the Triennale entitled ‘The Flower of Novembre’. This brilliant man explains his new work as follows: “The flower is a symbolic concept, an ideal of beauty that can be broken down into shapes and colors. The flower, poised between the potential of the seed and the fully-grown tree, is the seductive song of the call of love, a fleeting glimpse of aesthetic perfection”.
In the work of Novembre, an outsider of interior design who experiments with excess, different dreams and sources of inspiration converge.
Apparently distant disciplines like the cinema, music, contemporary art and fashion offer an unexpected way of creating a design today. The living demonstration that architecture can start from one’s own passions, from one’s own story, and take form in an all-embracing, original way.
