A Castiglioni. An Electa catalogue for the centenary exhibition

“Good design projects never originate from the ambition to leave one’s own mark, but from one’s willingness to build a relationship with the unknown end-user”
Electa publishes a substantial catalogue in conjunction with one of the most important exhibitions in recent years – on Achille Castiglioni (1918-2002), the undisputed master of Italian design, organised by the Milan Triennale to mark the centenary of his birth.

The exhibition at the Triennale from 6 October 2018 to 20 January 2019 is curated by Patricia Urquiola in collaboration with Federica Sala and analyses Castiglioni’s work across the board – from design to architecture, interior design and exhibitions. Innovative, unfussy, functional and creative, the catalogue reflects the work of this great architect and designer.

Also celebrating Castiglioni is an updated edition of his monograph published by Electa, a must for all those wanting to know more about the person and his works.
